GKM wins an important contract for a major gold mine development in Nunavut Territory. The geotechnical instrumentation supply includes hundreds of vibrating wire piezometers, inclinometers and thermistor strings to be installed in the containment dike foundation around the future open pit area.
A total of 650 measurement readings will be automatically recorded thru a network of twenty-five (25) multiplexers and seven (7) dataloggers with radio transmitters to a gateway for remote access monitoring.
The project staff will benefit from GKM field assistance contribution, knowledge and track record of numerous data acquisition system deployments with wireless communication in arctic environment.
